***** 2009 SUMMER GALA ***** 19th July 12pm till 6pm *****

Lots of activities and FUN for all the Family - Please come along and support YOUR club

* Speed Snooker
* Table Tennis
* 5 a side football
* Various athletic events for the juniors ie 50m and 100m races etc
* Indian martial art demo ie Gatkha as well as Taekwando
* Bhangra dance groups
* Various stalls selling goods
* Raje Sport will be offering sports equipment at special discounted prices (Raje Sports have been supporting our club for last 10 years)
* West Yorkshire Wood Turning Society to demonstrate wood working skills
* Indian food and Cricket Teas for sale
* BBQ
* Fun Singstar ( Western and Bollywood) competition depending on interest

If individuals or teams want to enter any of the competitions or fun events then just complete the downloadable application form (in POSTINGS) and drop it off at the Lawnswood YMCA with the entry fee or simply bring the form and fee to any home cricket match on any Saturday afternoon between 12 - 5pm

In respect of the "Talent showcase" please note that auditions for acts wishing to perform at the Gala will be held at our Club House @ Lawnswood YMCA on the 20/27 June 2009 between 13.00 - 18.00pm.

Closing date for submitting entry form for the main events is the 12 July 2009.

LEEDS SIKH CC is a great friendly ** SUCCESSFUL ** club who play at the YMCA grounds on Otley Road. We have two teams in the Dales Council League (Division A and Division B) and also have a number of very active Youth Sides who play competitive cricket in the Airedale Junior League. 2005 was an outstanding season - B TEAM pulled of a historic LEAGUE + CUP Double, A TEAM were runners-up in LEAGUE + CUP and the U17's also reached the CUP FINAL! In 2006 A TEAM were the Pool Paper Mills Cup Winners. Come and join in the fun!
